Inma Escribano is a Spanish journalist and Communication Officer specializing in multimedia content creation, with a deep passion for travel and human-centered storytelling. After nearly a decade living in China and Hong Kong, Inma moved back to Spain in 2023, bringing with her a wealth of international experience in documentary filmmaking and communication campaigns.
Her passion for travel has translated into compelling photography work and in-depth reportages, such as those on the haenyeo women of South Korea, elderly female free divers, and the tattooed women of Chin State in Myanmar. She has traveled extensively across Asia and beyond, exploring diverse cultures and capturing stories of resilience, identity, and heritage.
Throughout her career, she has covered major global events like the Hong Kong protests and the North Korea-United States summit, while collaborating with national and international outlets including Antena 3, Onda Cero, El País, Diario Siglo XXI, TVE, and Agence France-Presse.
With degrees in Journalism and Political Science, as well as specialized training from the United Nations, including a prestigious fellowship in New York, Inma has worked as a correspondent and producer in Asia, documenting key events such as the COVID-19 outbreak in China. Her documentary work for outlets like CGTN and VICE has taken her across China, capturing the country’s social phenomena.
